August 19 Parking Alert

Making your way to the Summer Sundays Steelin' In The Years concert this Sunday may need a slight adjustment with St. Johns Street being closed for Car Free Day.
Best option is Sky Train to Moody Centre Station within walking distance to the park.
If driving, : coming from the west use Clarke St., left on Moody St. to the park. From the east all streets are open.
Parking is limited. For this Sunday only, we will not have use of the Inlet Sports Field.
Parking available at:
1. Moody Centre Station within walking distance to the park.
2. Coquitlam Centre Station. Quick Skytrain ride to Moody Centre Station.
3. Port Moody Recreation Centre. Free Shoreline Shuttle ride to park.
Starting June 1 the City of Port Moody's SHORELINE SHUTTLE starts operation for yet another convenient way to get to Rocky Point Park. See map for route and stops.

Enjoy the convenience of taking SKYTRAIN to MOODY CENTRE STATION which also offers parking for a nominal daily charge and following the directions on this video for the 5 - 10 minute walk to ROCKY POINT PARK.

For those bicycling to the park, there are 4 bike stands accomodating locks located across the front of the park.

R&B Allstars This Dutch based, drive by piano player hits hard and will take no prisoners! Internationally known pianist, singer and recording artist Eric-Jan Overbeek, also known as Mr. Boogie Woogie most recently won the Dutch Blues Challenge 2017. He has also been awarded the prestigious honor of Best Dutch Blues Pianist 2010 by the Dutch Blues Foundation and voted Best European Blues Pianist in 2005 by the Trophees France Blues.

David Gogo David Gogo's groove-fueled blend of blues and rock is the basis for a singular and storied music career. His songs have been featured in film and television and are regularly played on blues radio programs the world over. He has earned numerous Canadian blues accolades, including five JUNO nominations, a Western Canadian Music Award, a CBC Saturday Night Blues Award, and multiple Maple Blues Awards. He has thirty years of performing and hundreds of thousands of tour miles under his belt. He's played on stage with Johnny Winter, B.B. King, Otis Rush, Albert Collins and Bo Diddley. He has opened for George Thorogood, ZZ Top, The Tragically Hip, Buddy Guy, Charles Bradley, Robert Cray, and Jimmy Vaughan among many others. Gogo can swap road stories for as long as you can listen!
